  Stayed here because everything was chockas. Not a chance of getting in to NP for days. Here was cheap, quiet and surprisingly comfortable. Toilets are a bit of a way away (at the Clubhouse), and there isn't power or water but neither is there at the NP so no difference. Benefit to us for the stay was the greater ease of exploring. Ended up staying 3 nights and enjoyed it.

  Played Freycinet Golf Course on 8/9/17. What a surprise! It's a fantastic 9 hole course built on an undulating patch of sandy ground only a few kilometers from Coles Bay. The course was a little dry in spots but it's a very sandy area and I can imagine keeping water up to some areas must be almost impossible. It's not your typical Tasmanian country course - it's reasonably long, with small greens and a number of strategially placed bunkers.

  The highlight for me were holes 5-6-7, but the other 6 holes are a delight as is the short, picturesque short par-3 9th.

  My only gripe is the outdated, 'all day' green fee ($20) which penalises honest people who only have time for a quick 9 holes. Seriously guys, who over the age of 15 has the time or interest to play ALL DAY?? I just hope this hasn't put too many players off experiencing this fantastic course. Please instate a 9 hole green fee of $10-15.
